Booking Terms and Conditions

1. OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

1.1 Quackers Play Centre provides access to a number of activities, which include but are not limited to soft play access, slides (all varieties), soft play equipment, café access, outdoor access including go karts, sandpit, wildlife lake and any other amusement as well as participating in toddler and craft sessions and parties (“Activities”).

1.2 These are the terms and conditions which apply when you book to take part in an Activity with Quackers Play Centre.

1.3 Please ensure that you read these terms and conditions carefully, and check that the details of your booking are complete and accurate, before you submit your booking. If you think that you have made a mistake after you have submitted your booking, please contact us to discuss.

1.4 Booking is recommended, as we have a limit on numbers in each session (this includes adults & under 2s).

1.5 By submitting your booking, you agree that the supply of the Activities by Quackers Play Centre and your participation in the Activities is subject to these terms and conditions.

1.6 No booking shall be deemed to have been accepted by Quackers Play Centre unless the booking has been accepted in writing by Quackers Play Centre, which will take the form of Quackers Play Centre sending you an email confirmation of the booking.

1.7 Quackers Play Centre reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions from time to time in order to comply with changes in any relevant laws or regulatory requirements.

2. SAFETY

All Activity participants agree to adhere to the following Rules of Play:
Play equipment inside Quackers Play Centre is suitable for all ages (including adults), with exception of the fenced toddler area which is specifically designated for pre-school aged children to play.
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Socks must be worn indoors at all times.
Shoes must not be worn on any of the equipment.
We recommend wearing clothing which covers arms and legs whilst playing.
Jewellery and any loose objects in pockets should be removed prior to play, including badges.
No food or drink to be taken onto the play equipment but may be consumed at the tables within the play area.
No running.
Those in charge of a child/children are solely responsible for the control, care and safety of their child/children at all times.
Those in charge of a child/children are under no circumstances allowed to leave the building without taking the child/children with them.
No under 18s under any circumstance will be permitted to use our outdoor area without the direct supervision of an adult.
We reserve the right to require anyone, child or adult, to leave if their behaviour is likely to threaten the safety or enjoyment of anyone else.
All notices regarding the safe use of the equipment must be observed at all times.
Quackers Play Centre is strictly no smoking.

2.2 We take no responsibility for property lost or left behind on the premises.

2.3 In the event of any accident or injury please report to a member of staff.

2.4 Please note, we do not allow dogs into the building. Assistance Dogs only.

3. PRICE AND PAYMENT

3.1 Subject to any terms agreed in writing between Quackers Play Centre and you, our charges for all Activities shall be calculated at our current rates.

3.2 All charges include VAT, where applicable.

3.3 Payment shall be made in full at the time of booking and can be made by using a debit card or credit card.

3.4 In the case of a birthday party you will be required to pay a non-refundable 50% deposit and final balance to be paid on the day of the party.

3.5 For birthday parties of 25 people or more and private hire you are required to contact us via email to enquire and book. You will receive a payment link which should be paid within 24 hours to secure your booking. Failure to pay within the 24 hours will result in your booking being released.

3.6 Quackers Play Centre reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Though any change in price will not affect any activities which have already been booked and paid for at the time that the change in price becomes effective.

4. CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS AND REFUNDS

4.1 You shall be entitled to cancel your booking (this includes party and group bookings) at any time. Any cancellations will only be offered to transfer to another date. No refunds will be issued.

4.2 You are required to provide reasonable notice to amend or change your booking, party or group booking.

4.3 Quackers Play Centre shall be entitled to cancel your booking at any time. In the event that the Quackers Play Centre decides to cancel your booking it shall use its reasonable endeavours to notify you as soon as possible. You shall be entitled to a full refund in the event of cancellation under this clause, but no other compensation shall be payable.

4.4 If an event outside of Quackers Play Centre’s control occurs before the commencement of the Activity which means that we are not able to provide the Activity which has been booked, then the booking is refundable by means of an offer to transfer to another date and time or a credit note for the value of the booking.

4.5 Payments made by debit or credit card will be refunded to the same card that was used for original payment.

4.6 No refunds will be given for transactions made by gift cards. Bookings may be transferred in adherence with points 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 as set out in these terms and conditions.

4.7 Where multiple forms of payment are used, we reserve the right to refund any monies due by debit or credit card.

5. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

5.1 Quackers Play Centre will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of or to any of your property or personal belongings during your visit to the venue or arising from the booking of or participation in the Activities. Personal possessions are brought into the venue entirely at the owners’ own risk.

5.2 Parking facilities are available at the site and any vehicles and their contents are left at the owners’ risk.
